Naked Attraction Online

A controversial dating series in which young people see potential love interests whose naked bodies are gradually revealed to them. Then they must choose.
Series cast summary:
Anna Richardson Anna Richardson - Herself - Presenter 25 episodes, 2016-2018

Chooser Tracy Kiss revealed in an interview with the Daily Star that the temperature in the studio was "very cold" to prevent the naked men from developing erections. She said she had asked: "'Can't we see them with erections so I know what I'm dealing with,' and they told me they weren't allowed."

Contestant Matty Roche, a former stripper, admitted he'd had a mixed reaction from friends and family from appearing on the series and had attracted dozens of online comments since his appearance - but he added that his parents were "quite disappointed" in him.

The complete lack of pubic hair on virtually all of the women participating (and many of the men) occasioned much comment from viewers online. Comedian Robert Webb even said: "Last night, wife and I watched Naked Attraction and concluded we are the only people left in Britain with pubes but no tats (tattoos). Or we're just old."

Tracy Kiss warned her mum and family members over the age of 40 to avoid watching her appearance on the series. She said: "I told her not to watch because I said, 'I went on a cock hunt, so you're probably not going to want to watch that, mum!'"

Many of the men who are selected to appear on the series have a larger than average penis, as the average length for a flaccid penis is just three-and-a-half inches according to another Channel 4 series, Embarrassing Bodies (2008).

I applaud this show for having the guts to go where no show has dared to go before...I hate when in movies the nudity is blurred, obscured, hidden in too dark scenes ect..this show has none of that and fearlessly puts it all out there and pulls no punches...what i dont care for and am shocked by is the ridiculous amount of hideous tattoos and disgusting piercings that almost every single one of these contestants are covered in...My God! are there no natural ,human beings left on this planet who are comfortable and accepting of themselves in their original, Unadorned state?? These people look like Alcatraz escapees, both the women and men...Same goes for the shaving fetish that people feel they have to conform to...Its rare to see a man or woman, Minus tattoos and without piercings ,sporting a full bush on this show..Everyone seems to conform to looking like they came from the Yakuza...its sad...That said, I praise the show for its boldness! maybe those types are the only ones with the nerve to get on and show themselves publicly...If thats the case, i praise them too for their courage! I just wish there were Other types on the show besides these brave souls...Ink and metal are not my thing!

Love to watch this with my 2 year-old! Been doing this since the show's release. Her first word was pubes, bless her heart. The whole family loves to play along at home... starting to think my wife might not be as straight as once thought! She always seems very engaged when the contestants are women. This coupled with the fact that she's spending a lot of time after work with "Sally" is starting to worry me... Anywhomst, the show is good and funny. Hardly understand the low score at all!

If somebody had proposed this show with a straight male presenter, this show would never have aired... It's only because the presenter is aggresively bisexual that she got the job, but this is still the equivalent of a presenter ogling the participants. This is a disgusting show, based solely on the viewing public's salacious appetite for pornography under another name... The prevalance of LGBGT contestants should tell you all you need to know... To be avoided at all costs, or it will be re-commissioned... I was forced to sit in the same room while this was aired, and it just made me laugh... C4 still looking to shock after 26 years... Just sad...

This is a Channel 4 dating show which is presented by Anna Richardson. The first series was shown in July and August 2016. The second series was shown in June and July 2017.

A person chooses one of six nude people whose bodies who are gradually revealed as the chooser eliminates five of them, one by one. The pair then go on a date and talk about it afterwards.

The participants don't say much about their sex lives - which is disappointingly surprising, given the nature of the show.

The show is TITilating but you notice at the end, in the recap, that the relationships never progress. In these days of the internet, where you don't even have to pay for porn, this show is nothing special. In TV & movies, extended love scenes are boring. This show was invented for ratings but it falls short of the internet availability. Would people willing participate & give enough info ON AIR so that they can be tracked down IN REAL LIFE???

I live in the states, and I applaud this show for being so open. When it comes to attractions for life partners or leisure encounters the majority of people first look at gender and then physical attraction. We can lie to ourselves and other people and say we look for personality, hair, teeth, etc... first, but the former is ALWAYS one of first 2 things we look for in a partner.

This show is the opposite of "The Dating Game" where contestants were questioned as they sat behind a curtain and then revealed at the end. If you remember that show (or YT it), you will see that most of those contestants where hand picked (for that era) before being presented. I'm sure we have some of that going on here, but there is much more diversity then usually allowed which is a good thing.

Another reviewer said their are too many tats and piercings to give this a good rating and while I somewhat disagree, it can be a little much in the sense that all contestants feel like they may have been pulled from the same district/burrough/providence based on appearance. I am not familiar with the different regions the contestants come from (based on the different accents), and although it is trendy for the younger generation to "bedazzle" their bodies it seams there is not a lot of diversity in that area. It could be that perhaps these type of people are more open towards nudity and that's why they don't mind showing their bodies off. Or it could just be that they want to be on tv... I don't claim to know.

If HBO wasn't trying to rid itself of the stigma "It's not porn, it's HBO", then perhaps we could get the series off the ground to other areas of the world. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt a little sad that this show only had 5 reviews and has gone on for 4 seasons which just shows that we still have a ways to go before being an open society. If I had any critique for the show, it would be to interview the contestants separately afterwards to find how the dates actually went, if there were any further dates, and give their perspective. It could even be a separate web based interview if it where to salacious for tv (like Big Brother etc...). Weather Hipster, Business Man, or Country Bumpkin, one thing stands true... I want a beer and see something naked.
