Miami Vice Amen... Send Money (1984–1990) Online
During a police sting, Tubbs busts a woman who tries to by some drugs off of him. However, it turns out she's none other than Leona Proverb, an ex singer and current wife of a showy, eccentric and very popular televangelist, Reverend Billy Bob Proverb, who preaches Christ's love in a rather unique way - by promoting materialism, consumerism and donations to him. Tubbs is ready to testify against Leona, but he's set up by a beautiful religious fanatic, Faye Nell, who falsely accuses him of rape. Suspecting that Reverend Proverb is behind this, Sonny tries talking to people who know the man well like Proverb's biggest rival, televangelist Mason Mather, or a small time swindler called Fast Eddie Felcher. Meanwhile, detective Stroh from Internal Affairs grills Tubbs. Things escalate when Mather prophecies during his live show that Proverb is about to be punished by God.
