The Book of Genesis does not mention what type of species the Tree of knowledge was, yet throughout history various texts, interpretations and misunderstandings produced a wide variety of possibilities; apple, fig, pomegranate, oak, date, cedar, and even wheat are only a few of them. The How to Graft the Tree of Knowledge video is an attempt done by a fictitious institution called The Sarah Gray Research Headquarters to teach the public how to propagate the Tree of Knowledge from rootstock and scions of all the various species found on a Google search while entering the question 'what type of species was the Tree of knowledge.' This video is a component of an ongoing multi-media project that is searching for alternatives to hierarchically structured though systems and is based on You Tube tutorials on grafting techniques.
