Van Rossum is after the last will and testament of Gravin Ada van Couwenberg's uncle. Together with her lady in waiting Viola, Ada dresses up as men to bring the will to court. Unfortunately they walk right into the clutches of Lange Pier and his men.

The original broadcast in 1969 was preceded by a 7 minute introduction by Pollo Hamburger in which he talks to costume designer Robert Bos about medieval fashions.
This is the only episode of the show in which neither Floris nor Sindala appear as the main characters: both heroes do not show up until over half the episode, with the story focusing on countess Ada and Viola trying to keep the testament safe.
