The Director's computer was actually stolen the night before the premier. An older version was actually shown.

Brenda Ingraham (Sweet Dear Old Lady) actually plays a role 20 yrs her senior. A wig and make-up achieved the desired result.

This film reunites Janice Fisher and Carmen Fitzgerald, who worked on David Kashner's first film (What's the Point), and reunites Teo Ciltia with Mikey Tran, who worked on David Kashner's Misconception.

When asked what his favorite horror film, Seth says Misconception. This was David Kashner's second film. Crystal responds "I never heard of it".

An 800w "red head" light blew up while shooting the fortune teller scenes. The director said the noise sounded like someone was reviving the Frankenstein monster.

The opening sequence was shot with a handheld camera because Universal Studios prohibited the director from bringing in a tripod.

Teo Ciltia's first producer credit.

Brenda Ingraham and David Kashner met at an acting seminar. Janice Fisher and David Kashner met an audition.

The two songs were both done by 17yr musicians. Paige Keiner's "Saturday", featured at the beginning of the film, and Ken Gao's "Limitless", featured toward the end (lyrics and vocals by Annabelle)

The writer states "Wings of Desire", "Big", and "Pan's Labyrinth" as influences for this film.

Lindsey Koper was scheduled to edit "Misconception" but a sickness before the deadline prevented her from editing it.

This is the third part of a planned trilogy, with the post credit scene actually the end of the second part (Date from Hell).

Teo Ciltia plays a killer in the writer/director's previous film. The writer/director plays the dead body in that film.

The phone number listed for Crystal is a nod to David Kashner's phone number back in Mount Carmel Pennsylvania. The ad is also a nod but has the numbers mixed up (438 S Hickory vs the actual address of 348 S Hickory). The card designer kept making other mistakes so when she got most of it correct, he relented and went with those.

Brandon Hamiltom shaved his beard to look younger for the role of Seth. He's 8yrs older than Hedy Nasser (Crystal) and not young enough to technically be actress Janice Fisher'a kid.
