Another film starring Shashi Kapoor that was completed but stayed in its cans for 15 years. It was quietly released on video in 1995. The film is not available on VCD or DVD making this another lost movie.
In 1983/84 after bandhan kache dhagon ka anil sharma started this film as Chingariyan and the shooting was going on, then anil sharma started and concentrated on Hukumat. then he made Farishtey & Elaan e Jung,He completed Chingariyan when he completed Elaan e Jung.
Anil Sharma was going to remake the movie Death Wish with Smita Patil and title it "Chingaariyan". he shelved that film due to B.R. Chopra making Aaj Ki Awaaz. He decided to use the title Chingaariyan for this film.
Smita Patil was replaced by Anita Raj in the film.
Natasha Sinha was signed for the film but later her role was scrapped.
