Mimi wants to be alone with Rex, so Shawn, already having trouble to concentrate on his study, must leave. While Jen considers accepting to co-host a TV show with Jack, they overhear Palmer bothering the precinct, follow him and use the bug Jack planted. Jack tells the police he's convinced, without actual certainty, he's in league with the crime syndicate, Jen can't answer her cellphone anymore- she's kidnapped. Meanwhile Roman and Bo try to enter Vin Ramsell's presumed drug house. Belle remains hostile to Cassie and party-animal Chaz. Mimi's meddling convinces Rex to follow Cassie back to the DiMera mansion.
