Seoul, U.S.A. is a testament to Tae Kwon Do's primary tenet - indomitable spirit! Lynnette Love and Arlene Limas represent everything Tae Kwon Do. Though born of different ethnicities, with the guidance of Coach Lee these two amazing women overcome personal demons of poverty, crime infested neighborhoods and hardships of being a woman competing in a male dominated martial art form. With everything to gain and everything to lose, these two women go the distance to bring home the gold and make their country proud!

Tae Kwon Do, a Korean Martial Arts form, was introduced at the 1988 Olympic Games hosted in Seoul, Korea.
The first U.S. Women's Tae Kwon Do Olympic Team won more medals over the men's team: 3 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze. No other U.S. Tae Kwon Do team has broken this record as of yet.
While a student at Howard University, Cherrelle e'Lan learned about the first U.S. Women's Tae Kwon Do Team to compete in the Olympic Games. Members of the 1988 Olympic Team trained at Howard University in preparation for the competition in Seoul, Korea.
Inspired by Olympic Gold Medalists Lynnette Love and Arlene Limas and Olympic Team Coach, Coach Sang Chul Lee, Cherrelle e'Lan conducted 72 hours of telephone interviews of each character. All the while never meeting them in person.
Seoul, U.S.A. was first entitled Seoul of America.
