I saw the last 3/4 of this and can say I don't regret missing the first half hour. I know ratings below 1 are not possible, but if they were this one would certainly qualify. Normally I rate Lifetime movies high on the Lifetime movie scale when they are really stupid, as in Police Squad or Airplane! stupid. This one was just irritating due to the stupid characters.

The woman that will end up in jeopardy here deserves everything she gets, I'll acronym her as the Lifetime Dumb Female (LDF). I wish someone would have ganked her, whether a bus as she got out of her minivan or the Lifetime psycho (LP), who in this case was her two-timing husband.

She is antagonistic towards the cops, one of whom appeared to be a friend, I'll call him Detective Buddy (DB). They did everything they were supposed to do, the other detective appeared to be very competent. She on the other hand acted far worse than a typical LDF. She finds her husband, but of course does not tell the police, instead impersonates a Realtor to speak to wife #1 and tour the house, where LP returns and discovers he is busted. She eventually tells DB, and then blows up at them (again) when they say they have to get an arrest warrant since the husband is outside their jurisdiction.

Further stupidity follows when LP shares his plan to gank LDF and his kid with her. LDF and LP have a kid that needs a transplant that only LP can provide.

As another reviewer noted, wife #1 was the only intelligent person here. She called 9-1-1 after LP shared his murder plan.

LP turns up at LDF's house and has found her gun. He goes the usual talk, don't shoot route, which gives her a chance to hit him in the head with a handy rock, and of course she leaves the gun with him. DB is there now and has the drop on LP, but more talking and not shooting ensues, and LP after being talked to death shoots DB in the shoulder. LDF and LP each get into a boat.

What follows is one of the stupidest boat chases I've ever seen, just going around in circles. LP's boat eventually runs out of gas and he's then busted after making a swim for it. It predictably ends with the LDF ending up with DB. It never resolves the murdered woman that DB and the other detective were working on- who had LDF's bracelet. Maybe they ran out of money.

Regular movie score -5/10 (higher is better), Lifetime movie score -1/10 (higher is stupider).

Terrible acting by the lead with a matching script. I started commenting on Facebook as the movie progressed because I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was the epitome of awful, but not the kind that makes it kitsch. If a dictionary or writer's guide ever wants to define "too stupid to live," they should post a picture of this movie's heroine. Sheesh! And omg, Parker Stevenson has a small part? Oh dear. You know it's time to turn off the TV if you're suffering through this.

The concept made me think this movie would be fun to watch. Wrong! First off, she discovers hubby leading a double life and chases him down but doesn't confront him immediately!!! If your child is dying you run across the street and grab him on the spot, not stalk him to his home and come up with a blackmail plan. The only person who behaved normally was wife #1. Seriously, the fallout on her side was NEVER explored. She is an absolute hero in this and gets no credit and minimum screen time. They don't have kids meet each other, commiserate, nothing. We also never find out about the woman he may have killed. Did she find him out? Was she wife#3? And the supposed heroine tells her son that Dad will help him. Based on what exactly? The fact that he was going to kill him? The acting was terrible except for wife #1 and hubby. Ugh, and the climactic boat chase. Just so bad.

Except for the actor playing the husband, David O'Donnell, this is pretty much predictable. There are two families with the same husband. One neglected wife, played by Haylee Duff, takes it upon herself to find him and make trouble. She gives a very ineffectual performance and is somewhat boring to watch. The other wife, played by Jennifer Aspen, reacts to the trouble the first wife brings into her home. She gives an honest performance with little to do. The friend, played by Mekenna Meloni. is not too much help. Then there's Parker Stevenson, a reluctant detective, that is just in the movie and doesn't do much. And there you have it. Not very interesting and not well written or acted. Duff is somewhat a bad actress and is trouble from the get go. You want her to lose. She's a dork. Don't waste your time with this trite.

Oh my goodness. This movie was SO boring! I was exhausted. I get a kick out of Lifetime movies. I usually love them because they're so ridiculous. BUT this one was just BAD. It was terrible. Who just lets someone walk into their home and gives them a guided tour without asking questions or for credentials?

And wife #2 (Haylie) is such an idiot with her communication with the cops, one of them being a family friend, she just basically yelled at them all the time for doing their job. And when wife #2 finds out over the phone from albeit, her husband, that she is being played; instead of being in shock or getting upset or an average reaction, she sobs "Where's your heart?" What a geek! He just blatantly told her "having two families just isn't logical so I im gonna have to let you go" and it was COLD I tell ya. It was like he was firing her for stealing or something. I was cracking up out loud.

The only entertainment in this movie is the husband because he is just so over the top unapologetic and cold about his actions. The husband confessed to wife #1 over the phone as well. He basically shrugs and yells, "I have two families okay?" He seemed like he just loved saying that! The "boat chase" if you can even call it that, had me laughing as well.

This movie is just terrible but good for a couple laughs near the end.

A happily married woman called Sarah feels something is amiss because her husband Jason disappeared. There are bills piling up and an appointment for the doctor about their son. She tries to contact her husband but he doesn't answer. She later finds out that he wasn't working for the company, and there was no sign of Jason for 2 days. What's important is that he's found to help their son, who has a rare condition and needs a bone transplant, and Sarah was tested but no match for the transplant. The film becomes sloppy when the police arrive to help only Sarah becomes angry with them for asking questions, which they have to do. She takes it upon herself to look for Jason. Then by pure coincidence, he's spotted on a live TV broadcast just strolling by and facing the camera! What Sarah does could've been better if she told the police. Jason turned out to be a really callous and evil monster who not only had a double life but wanted to kill Sarah and their son because he couldn't have two families. The dark boat chasing scene was quite awful and didn't look real, more like James Bond only not as good.

Happily married Haylie Duff (as Sarah Brown) suffers an unexpected tragedy. Her husband, successful San Bernardino, CA salesman David O'Donnell (as Jason Goodman), has gone missing. The bills on their luxurious Big Bear estate are piling up. Even worse, sickly preteen son Judah Nelson (as Brandon) has a rare disease and may need a transplant from dad. The lad's deceased grandfather's old business partner Parker Stevenson (as Daniel Sharpson) is now a detective, but he sees mother Duff as a suspect. It's up to Duff to solve her mounting problems, which puts her life in danger...

This is you average "Lifetime" TV movie. Much of it seems jarring and there are ragged edges in the construction. Still, it's a good effort by writer-director Michael Feifer, who gets the project completed adequately. More production time would have made the drama more satisfying...

Thought Duff may be pregnant with a second child, which would have added heartbreak and possibly given her some more interesting acting opportunities. There is no love interest between her and Det. Stevenson. However, he is noticeably older and, perhaps, no longer seen as a romantic actor. A murdered woman enters the story too abruptly, and model-pretty Jennifer Aspen (as Emily) never says Mr. O'Donnell paid her any attention. While some of the casting seems off, Jennifer Aspen (as Emily) does a fine job as the naive first wife and O'Donnell is fun as Duff's wayward husband.

A guy who sits down with his wife and son and says prayers before each meal, continuously traveling until everything starts to unravel and the wife discovers that he has a second wife with 3 children.

The acting is good, particularly by the husband, who shows a callous disposition when confronted about his infidelity. His false kindness gives way to an embittered, vicious killer who cares less about his son, who he can save with a bone marrow transplant.

The police do their job which includes suspecting our victim wife of foul play upon the disappearance of her husband. Murder abounds as this guy has really led some swinging life.

I thought the abandoned wife's sister had something to do with this but she turns out to be a caring, but benign character in this double life charade of her brother-in-law.

I'm not one to submit a review unless it was outstanding, in contrast, this movie was so terrible I felt that I should submit a review and maybe save someone's time. First of all this was the typical kind of movie with the underlying message that all men are awful and will only hurt you. I could handle that since its only a movie, but with all it's other content this movie just put me over the edge. Multiple holes in the story, accompanied by some terrible acting just put the icing on the cake for this abomination. Also, a RIDICULOUS choice of settings, especially with the cabin which was an absolute disgusting addition. I would suggest for all the copies of this movie be burned and the director along with all individuals with even the smallest of relation to this movie should be fired indefinitely.
