It was only produced by "la Cinq" channel, in the cheapest way possible, in order to conform to the new quota of French fiction. ordered by a new government law. Several times indeed, "la Cinq" had been found guilty of broadcasting almost exclusively foreign programs.

Often, the script of an episode consisted on a single line synopsis. The actors was then asked to ad lib the entire show on that only basis.
