Five years before the Bush administration launched Operation Iraqi Freedom, Arthur Kent filmed the wedding in Basra of a young baker, Ali al Khalaf, and his sweetheart, Sahar. As the program begins, their fate is a mystery. Have they and their extended families survived the final years of Saddam Hussein? And are the young lovers now parents?
