Matthew Hick's younger brother originally directed the theatre play "Heart of Glass", which is the same exact story here, only that director/writer Jeremiah Carbajal from American Moonlight (2017) was hired on board by Matthew Hicks to direct the film, because he has more experience behind the camera.
It only took One Film Day to complete filming.
There was only one [Six-Hour] rehearsal for the film.
Heart of Glass was only filmed in three locations: a High School, writer Matthew Hicks house, and Jeremiah Carbajal's front porch in front of his grandparent's house.
This is Matthew Hicks first written project. Hicks (currently) works with Carbajal as a main film producer, on all of Carbajal's companies, Bad Corner Entertainment, produced films.
This is Briana Mujica's first acting debut. Mujica is also a producer on this film too, as she is employed with Carbajal's company: Bad Corner Entertainment.
This is Jeremiah Carbajal's second directorial start.
This is the first film for Jeremiah Carbajal to co-write, as he worked along side lead writer Matthew Hicks
The script was re-done one time, just five weeks before the first rehearsal.

In the last scene, Clark's car when he confronts Marcella is actually Natalie Williams, Marcella, car.
In the last scene at Marcella's house, the iPhone died two times, until the crew unplugged the Christmas decorations in the front yard and recorded it plugged in.
Natalie Williams wins her first major award for "Best Actress" at the 2018 Civic Awards.
Heart of Glass won a total of 4 Civic Awards, for Best Score, Best Cinematography, Best Actress, and Breakthrough Actress of the Year.
