A teenager is sent on a journey to fetch her aging grandmother and return her to the family farm. What seems on the surface to be a simple task is compounded when we learn that along her route lays a tiny house, the occupants of which she seems to have been trying to avoid. A scar on her forearm and some faint, distant memories are all she has to guide her. Who and what will she find inside the house in the meadow? Reco explores the theme of "fear of the unknown" and how it personally touches and influences each of the characters in the story.

The horse that Courtney Baxter rode in Reco was named "Angel", and wasn't a trained "Hollywood" horse.
The original horse that Courtney Baxter was going to ride was named "Dude", but didn't like how Courtney Baxter felt compared to his regular rider. With less than a week before production Courtney meet Angel and they hit it off.
During the filming of the meadow exterior shots the cast and crew were subjected to a torrential downpour, complete with lighting strikes. Many of them had to walk down the mountain because the cars couldn't make it back up to get them due to the slippery mud.
The bear used in the movie was a replica of one of the real first teddy bears manufactured.
Angel (the horse) is a Missouri Fox Trotter.
