After receiving a distress call from a Wayist vessel Beka is surprised to find her brother Rafe on board... the Rafe she knows is a conman not a spiritual man. Also on board is revered Wayist philosopher Vikram Singh Khalsa, who was injured but refuses treatment believing that if the universe want him to heal it will happen without the use of nanobots. They say the ship was damaged while in the way to a peace conference; their attackers the 'Resters'; an eco-terrorist group that wishes to stop interplanetary travel. It would appear that they are the group which attacked Andromeda in a previous episode. It isn't very long before it appears that Rafe is not to be trusted; unfortunately by then it might be too late as something has taken control of Andromeda's systems and the Resters are closing in for the kill.

This was a solid enough episode; there was plenty of tension, some good action as well as a few twists. There are also a few fairly cheesy moments; not that these were all bad... the opening where Tyr tries to teach Trance how to fight was pretty funny. The scene where Trance and Tyr dodge Andromeda's internal defences were a little weaker... the system can't be very good if it missed every time! Rafe was suitably ambiguous; right until the end I was unsure which side he was really on. The episode provided a good introduction to the Resters, I know they appeared in a previous episode but then they were just unknown attackers. We also learn a bit more about the Wayists. The cast did a solid enough job keeping their characters believable. Overall a fine episode with decent character development and action... no Harper though as he was off surfing!
