Originally, Brad Jones was going to review this movie in his other series, DVD-R Hell (2011), however he discovered that there was enough material in it for a Cinema Snob episode instead.
When the Snob says the line "He's so American he tastes like pancakes," he is making a reference to a Denny's commercial that Blip was running in front of their videos at the time. In the commercial, a man asks what red, white, and blue pancakes taste like and an older man sitting next to him replies, "America."
