Twelve juveniles, who have been tried as adults, were picked at random for a video workshop at Eastlake Juvenile Hall, Los Angeles. Their stories are inter-cut with commentary from academics, neurologists, a former district attorney of Los Angeles County, and others who discuss the trend in recent years across the United States to try juveniles as adults - more than 200,000 each year. The film argues that this public policy is misguided, unfair, expensive, and counterproductive. One of the youth ends an autobiographical poem, "Do you think he'll go mad?"

This film is incredible! It is delivers a clear yet painful look at society's forgotten children. This film should be required viewing at all educational institutions in this country. It easily will have many children "scared straight." Where can I purchase a copy? I am a mentor to children who are given a choice to work with a mentoring program or face juvenile hall. I'd love to show this to the participants in the program.

I thoroughly believe that anyone who views this film will want to help at least one child who needs to be saved from neglect. We can all find some time to work with a child before he/she heads down this path. Furthermore, it's time more of us, those who have some influence in areas where these children live, to lobby for better legal representation for the youth, more funding for their schools and programs that will gives them the tools they need to be successful. WATCH THIS FILM!! Let's start a movement…a revolution.
