The idea that we may one day turn into our own parents can be quite frightening to many people. No matter where we turn or who we turn to, none of us can escape the ghosts of our pasts. The story shows Leonardo as a young boy confronting his alcoholic father who turned into a religious fanatic to clean him self up. Leonardo simply does not want to be associated with his dad but little does he know that he himself will become the same with his own son. People behave only as they have been taught to behave. People react only as they have been taught to react. People are only aware of the reality that they have been exposed to.
