The shot which proved the hardest turned out to be the opening shot of young actor Mitchel Pearson, who wouldn't stop laughing throughout the afternoon.
There were fifty seven different takes of actor Matthew Patton's volley against the wall. In the end the first take was used.
Although the film shows a match between two different football teams (a minimum of twenty three players, considering there was at least one substitute used) each team had only five and seven players for the shoot respectively.
