Turn Out the Lights: Jim Morrison's Last Night on Stage (2012) Online

Jim Morrison's last night on stage with The Doors was at The Warehouse in New Orleans Louisiana on December 12, 1970. This short film uses interviews with The Warehouse owners, employees and a fan to tell the story of what really happened that night. This is a small portion of my larger documentary "A Warehouse on Tchoupitoulas" which delves into all the goings on at New Orleans' most infamous music venue.

Well done mini-documentary on The Doors' last live performance. It features recollections from the venue crew members to audience members who were there that night.

I would have like to have seen where the venue used to stand and where in New Orleans it was located. Also, perhaps giving more of a description of what the venue was like would be nice, inside and out. Also, seeing as how Kerry Livgren has a written memory of that night on his website, with excellent detail, it would've been nice to see an interview with him.

The only negative is that the music audio is from a 1970 Doors concert in Boston, NOT New Orleans. They claim to have a "monitor tape" of this last Doors show, which they should have used at least a snippet of to give the viewer an idea of what the concert was like and to also prove their claim that they have it.
