Arno and Toni work in a pizzeria on the outskirts of Trieste. Arno is a seventy-five years old chef who emigrated from Istria, Croatia today, in the Fifties. Toni is a middle-aged guy from Salerno who left South Italy when he was still a boy. Arno and Toni talk about refugees with bias, but at the same time they treat them with humanity and friendship. This film is a portrait of a city in Northern Italy where inhabitants have to deal with the difficulties of the past and present.
