Dan calls Maddie out of the blue and tells her he's back for a short while and wants to meet up but events conspire to keep them apart and Maddie misses her chance to see him which breaks her heart. Donna's relationship with Michael deteriorates. Faye becomes mad with Joseph for defending Jac's innocence when he wouldn't support her when allegations about her late husband surfaced but with Elliott acting as a mediator they manage to resolve their issues. Lady Byrne and Elliott become close when he helps her with a speech.
