"Hurl!" is probably one of G4's worst attempts at making a TV show that doesn't suck.

There is no need to deeply explain Hurl! outside of it's title. Hurl! is a TV show where contestants are forced to eat as much as they can and then ride an obnoxious, flashy-light, spinning ride and then eat some more until only one person is left who either hasn't ate more than the other person or has thrown up before the other contestant.

I will admit that tonight, I watched this show for the first time besides shunning it based off of it's TV commercial. Well let me be the first to tell everyone that there is nothing more to see than what is on the commercial. This show is absolutely disgusting and vile, and no matter how strong your stomach is, it is guaranteed to make you want to HURL yourself! There is little to no reason why anyone should want to watch or needs to watch this show. Cops has absolutely nothing to do with games beings that G4 is a gaming network, but I would much rather watch Cops than Hurl! G4 needs to return to it's routes of Tech TV and dump shows like this.

If you don't like the concept, then change the channel. If you want to see the usual bar talk of "who's the man" put to the test, this is a great start. If G4 did it with drinking, they' get sued into the next millennium. I enjoy watching frat type douche bags getting their egos crushed on national television. There should be more of these showdown type shows that challenge people to put up or shut the hell up. I've seen every episode of this series and always laughed when the show had the one on one interviews where the contestants would brag of their upcoming performance and then get schooled badly. After all, talking smack to the camera and the at home audience really doesn't psyche out your competition now does it? And when you lose in painfully non-spectacular fashion (one contestant didn't even get down a whole hot dog before losing his lunch), it really ought to humble you and be a great reason for your friends to shame you for years to come. This show truly proves you may be full of crap.

Warning: Contains Spoilers The plot of each episode of G4's new game show "Hurl!" involves five eager contestants who test themselves with an eating contest which is followed immediately after by extreme activities which are designed to shake them up. The objective is simple: eat the most and hurl the least and you win. And believe me when I say that the formula works to a often hilarious extent. Now I will admit when I saw the first episode, I was confused about the premise and even a little disappointed. But as the season progressed, I found myself becoming more and more impressed with each new episode. This show has some really cool new inventions, like the "vomitcam" which is attached to the area of the extreme activity, which makes for incredible camera shots. For all the eating rounds, however, they just use hand-held cameras which for this show are quite fine and also offers more interesting camera shots. And the show in general, I believe will draw in any teenager who loves a good gross out. I have to say this, Hurl is "puketastic"!
