30 Rock MILF Island (2006–2013) Online

As a post-WGA strike comeback, 30 Rock couldn't have picked a better episode: MILF Island is possibly the best episode of Season Two, beating two rock-hard contenders like SeinfeldVision and Rosemary's Baby. It's really, really, really brilliant.

In a nutshell: remember the show Jack invented during the summer hiatus, the highly suggestive MILF Island? Well, it's back. The staff of TGS is busy watching the season finale, while Jack is upset by a newspaper article when one of his own called him a "first class moron". Liz vows to find whoever did it, but when Kenneth points out it was her (unknowingly, but still) she threatens to kill him if the truth comes out. As MILF Island comes closer to the end, Liz comes closer to a confrontation she never imagined would take place.

Following the example of SeinfeldVision, Milf Island is a clever case of meta-television, with the events of the fake show acting as a parallel for Liz's situation. The razor-sharp script enables her to have some of her classiest moments with Jack (the pay-off is exquisite), and Kenneth's contributions are spot-on too. And yet amidst all the post-modernism the episode's most successful gag is a piece of old-school slapstick: the always adorable Pete tries to get some snacks without paying for them and ends up having his hand stuck inside the machine for 95% of the episode. Who said physical stuff needs to involve flatulence to be funny?

This is the eleventh episode of the second season of 30 Rock and it is about as good as you can expect, especially after the WGA strike. But thanks to sharp writing, hilarious jokes, funny one-liners, and some MILF Island, this is another fantastic episode. Tina Fey and once again, Jack McBrayer shine brightly here.

In this episode, "MILF Island," Jack is upset about the newspaper article that quotes an NBC insider saying Jack is one "first-class moron." Liz promises she will catch whoever said this, but Kenneth reveals to Liz that it was her who said it.

Overall, this is another great episode. Of course the show MILF Island does not exist, but boy it's one funny ripoff of Survivor or Lost. This is a funny, funny episode. Plus it features the old-school, hand-stuck-in-the-vending-machine gag. I rate this episode 9/10.

Its is the finale of the MILF island. And while watching it the office has its own drama and intrigue going on. Someone called Jack names and it made to the press, who was it?

Absolutely fantastic episode, making a parallel to the reality television. everything about it is a total classic. Frank making an "alliance" with Lutz, Pete going through a physical challenge, the whole staff pointing fingers at each other and being suspicious, Liz going over everyone to get out of it and Jack being very manipulative to get to his goal to make Liz write a show for the MILF winner.

High class episode, want more of this quality!

30 Rock

With a sensational triumph of six Golden GLobes, 30 Rock is undeniably critics' choice and the buzz pays off with Fey; the creator, at the heart of it, whose vision is crystal clear and on the mark.

It is a single camera sitcom about a writer of a TV Show and the behind-the-camera chaos it goes through before it goes on air. The somewhat distorted concept isn't what the series relies upon, its ideal vacation is to reach for a mature audience with wise and not funny writing.

It is rich on technical aspects like the production design but fails completely on cinematography and background score. As mentioned earlier, the humor isn't forcibly imputed which allows the makers to visit unknown places without any restraints and communicate fluently with the viewers.

The soul of the series is certainly its huge cast who can easily charm their way out of anything but Baldwin and Fey does invest a lot in it and are flat out hilarious in it.

Layered, satirical and thought-provoking writing, ironical humor and injected with enough content to run for its twenty minutes are the high points of this brilliant sitcom. Few cameos and a knack of taking bold moves factors a lot on keeping the audience tangled in its exhilarating world.

Season 02

It narrows down its priorities to primary lead characters and isn't spread across unlike the first season, and within fifteen chapters it triggers down the anticipated chills and thrills through definite arc in each characters that melts you down and cracks you up.

Milf Island

Like a ticking clock behind the screen, the gags of the show MILF Island never wears off and always works, and the rest of the act is an over thought out concept by a group of suspicious employees which fiddles with normal human emotions.

Yay! After a three-months-long writers' strike, 30 Rock is back with a new episode! Okay, in a nutshell: While the staff is watching "MILF Island", Kenneth alerts Liz to a Page Six column that reveals a "TGS" staffer called Jack a "first class moron" who "eats poo". Liz gets called to Jack's office and, after hearing from him how successful "MILF Island" is, asks about the Page Six item. So Liz now has to find out which one of her staff talked to a reporter. After getting nothing but the finger from everyone, Kenneth confronts Liz alone and reveals he knows it's her! While he lectures her about how wrong lying is, Liz threatens him calling him an "apple-faced baboon". Back in Jack's office, Jack tells about his stuttering days as a child that forced him in a special class with another one who "played with himself by the corner". Liz then reveals her own childhood malady of having an extra foot that left her pigeon-toed after amputation. Meanwhile, the staff have been held in Jack's waiting room in humid conditions hoping someone would break, but everyone just bickers. Kenneth, having enough, takes the blame to Liz' surprise and satisfaction. With that done, Jack should relax but reveals to Liz he still feels like the stuttering boy and starts to revert to his childhood condition when Liz confesses right there. Jack, his fake stutter gone, says he knew it all along and has her agree to write a spin off of the "MILF Island" winner on condition of silence. As the program ends, we see Liz still is pigeon-toed as she's walking! Oh, and during much of this episode, Pete has his hand stuck in a candy machine where he was attempting to score some snacks...What a hilarious episode to come back to! I especially loved the way some of the "MILF Island" scenes were running parallel to the events at "30 Rock" and particularly when Liz mentions about looking for No. 1 at the same time a character on "MILF Island" was saying the same thing! I also loved Kenneth's movements of prayer concerning Liz. At this point, I have to say this was the funniest episode of any television episode of the season so far. Welcome back, "30 Rock"!
