This is without doubt the worst hidden camera show ever made. It's no wonder the England football team was useless when Rio Ferdinand and his "mates" were the untouchable mainstays of the squad. Quite how a national football team can allow one of the dumber members of the squad to engage in a bunch of unfunny and beyond juvenile "wind-ups" is anyone's guess. If you've ever wondered why the England golden generation under-performed at every single tournament they entered, here's a perfect example.

The wind-ups (as they are called) involve fake cops harassing Gary Neville, someone pretending to kidnap David Beckham and some weird, but tedious incident involving an unwitting Peter Crouch and Robbie Fowler, while the "hilarious" Rio Ferdinand, complete with his gangster haircut, watches on in a shed with his entourage. All kinds of banter ensues, involving Rio shouting "He's been merked!!!" while clicking his fingers like a four year old who hasn't yet worked out how to do it. I suspect the clicking sounds were added in during post-production to save Rio's embarrassment, otherwise it would just look like he was making a rude hand gesture, the kind most of the watching audience were making at him....

This show was even less successful than Ferdinand's equally uninteresting boxing career.

Look it up on youtube and prepare to be appalled. And merked.
