After the film was shot, Giacomo Gabrielli, director and producer, did not feel satisfied with the results accomplished. Therefore, he decided to set the project aside. Some time later, Daniele Misischia, director and Giacomo Gabrielli's close friend, reviewed the footage and discovered how much potential this project would have, suggesting him to proceed with the editing process. Shortly after the film was completed. Doc. 33 received a million views on the web in the recent years.
