The Jamison Building, (located in Texarkana, Texas) was a professional and retail building. It is currently unoccupied, constructed at a cost of $60,000 and open in 1930 by three local African-American businessmen. It is a two story building, containing five offices suites, five single offices, and an auditorium with a seating capacity of 200, on the second floor. There is six retail business spaces on the first floor. One of the interesting architectural features of the building was its red and cream brick pattern. The building was planned and constructed by a local African-American contractor, tenanted by African-American business and professional men, owned and operated by African-American businessmen. The Jamison Building has had a significance status to the local African-American community.
