A woman is alone in the woods, images of fire sometimes cross her imagination. She picks up a carved wooden object, a primitive flute. She goes home, oddly greeting her parents outside a church, talking with her brother Robin who's an artistic slacker, calling on her cousin a psychologist. She is Janet, she complains that her brain itches. Her brother hosts a small party; there's violence on TV. Can Janet cope?
