Chloe's Acting Up (2001) Online

Adult Cinema connoisseurs appreciate the great star Chloe from the turn of this century, even though current porn hounds probably never even heard of her. One of Adam & Eve's favored hacks Roy Karch expends little or no effort starring her in this forgotten feature (I had to add it now some 16 years after the fact to IMDb), one of her worst shows from a great era.

Title refers to Chloe taking acting classes, perhaps a misguided dig by writer-director Karch against his leading lady - hey Roy, she's a great actress and you're a poor excuse for a director, so there!

Pardon that editorial comment, but it's all too true. The cast rehearses soap opera dialog, and of course Chloe has sex with her acting teacher, very poor casting of yucky old porn loser Rod Fantana -about as unappealing as latter-day ROn Jeremy. EVen alluring A & E stars like Mia Smiles and Elizabeth X. are featured in uninteresting yawn-worthy sex scenes.

WHere's the story? Where's the character development? No, it's just time for sex, hardly enough in a world where a million other all-sex shows exist for a voyeur to choose from. So perhaps my resurrecting this obscure title for completeness' sake was a fool's errand -the joke's on me. Karch certainly didn't laugh all the way to the bank, but perhaps he managed to fund a couple of alimony payments with this mindless exercise.
