Tom Lynskey continues to astound me personally with every release that he does. It can be said that the World War II genre is indeed at an overused look in both video games and film, but Tom disregards this and provides us with something fresh.

For me personally, first person films/shots are either hit or miss. The effect that the Director or Cinematographer is trying to accomplish needs to be done carefully in order to achieve the maximum amount of tension, drama, etc. It works in this short film, and frankly; I couldn't see it any other way.

I look forward to many more shorts from JKilts. They're on the break of something big.
