Since the short was made in 48 hours, Stephen Hensel learned how to mime the morning of shooting, from videos on the Internet and from director, Michael J. Wickham, a former professional clown. Philip Martin and Hjordy's Matos also learned their sign language lines that day, from Internet videos.

Stefan's mime shirt is actually a woman's dress, tucked into his pants.

The office that Stefan works in was built on the floor of an apartment; the cubical walls are closet doors on their sides, the legs of the desk chair have been removed, and the desk is a coffee table. This is why you never actually see Stefan get up from his cubical.

The entire short is sped up by 10% to give it the jerky motion of old silent films.
