Hoping to shoot a crime-suspense drama in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan, writer/producer Daryl Keith Middlebrook, with blood, sweat and tears, raised the funds to shoot several scenes from his project, Falling Like Dominoes. Hoping to prove to potential investors that unknowns can get the job done, Middlebrook assembled a multi-ethnic, sexually diverse crew and cast together with impressive results. The documentary explores the dreams of the producers, the vision of the director and the hard work put in by cast and crew alike. The film also pays homage to the selection of women in such male dominated roles as director, gaffer, producer and 1st AD.
