Heart is a hybrid of performance art combined with video and film practices. It is a short video piece in which the artist dissects and inspects an ox heart before interacting more closely with it and finally stitching it back together. She is naked and externalizing everything that was previously internalized and hidden. Through this process she gets to know all the pieces of this organ before pasting it back together. The piece is about destruction, deconstruction, acceptance and reconstruction.
