Togger holds in his hand what he calls "the path to the secret treasure". The paper with "short cut" on the top, falls onto Emma's pile of work as the boys collide with her, but she collects it up as part of her work. Andy says sorry as he rushes by, leading Tanya to speculate that she has a thing going with him. Togger explains (rather incoherently) how his Uncle Peter knows that there was a valuable time capsule buried at a certain location near the school a long time ago. His uncle realizes that he chose the wrong tree, but he's given Togger an indication of where the capsule is likely to really be, a telephone kiosk featuring in the location. He tells Andy and Abel that they'll do the search during cross country - and that he has a map of a secret short cut to save time on the run, not knowing that the map has fallen into the hands of an unsuspecting Emma.
