It Lasted 4 yrs.! And I thought very funny. If you're not a stodgy dullard like the previous 2 reviewers, you will be smiling and laughing. Posh Nosh fans should enjoy this one.

I loved watching this show. And the recipes and how David interacted with everyone. I miss the show and wish it would either come back on Tv or buy it. I know I would buy it.

This show is so enjoyable, especially the holiday episodes. David Gale is a charming host and gets his 'grandmas' to shine. I feel like I am right in the kitchen with them cooking and sitting at the table enjoying a family style meal. The personal stories are delightful. I wish there were more episodes!

I really enjoy watching this show. So much fun. They start of shopping at a local market and off to the home kitchen they go to share a traditional recipe. The wonderful host injects humor wherever he can which is a plus. I have watched every episode, printed out recipes and wish we had more episodes to watch. A wonderful delightful show.

Unless your humor goes no farther than your big toe, you will enjoy this show very much. David Gale engages with these wonderful grandmas and gets them laughing with a little good natured teasing and flirting. I've watch all the seasons several times and I never tire of them. A truly delightful show. They are few and far between now days. The only thing that could make me happier about this show is if they made more ♥

This guy is really pathetic. Not clever enough to come up with a decent question or response, he makes lascivious comments to a 60 year old, tries to stir the pot with degrading questions about her husband with her daughter present, and generally comes off like a twerp. For example, the grandmother gives him a word to call her in Italian, and he says what does that mean, lover?, and falls to his knees. I can't image a more ridiculous individual, and only wonder how this show lasted 4 years. It should be removed from syndication, I know I'll never put myself through another minute of his antics.

twerp: a silly or annoying person

This great idea could have been so much better if they had picked a host with a little class. Without fail, he insulted and disrespected the featured grandmothers in every show. The episode with the granddaughter of the Governor of Borneo was SO interesting because of her unique heritage, until the "host" referred to her head-hunter ancestors, and asked the gracious lady if she still practiced head-hunting by killing animals. Are You Freakin' Kidding Me! Beyond moron. I can see why this show didn't last.
