Mrs. Dean is an ardent suffragette. She rules her husband with a hand of iron. Things get even more unpleasant for him when his wife joins the Woman's Temperance Union. One night Mr. Dean stays downtown with the boys and imbibes a little too much. His courage fails him when he starts for home and he implores his two friends to go home with him. Mrs. Dean is awaiting him and ready for battle. She puts the two friends to flight and refuses to let her husband enter the house. The cook, hearing the noise, gets up and takes Mr. Dean's part, and Mrs. Dean discharges her on the spot. This leaves Mrs. Dean in the house alone and victorious. Mr. Dean is in despair, so he goes to his two friends for advice. Things look very blue for little Mr. Dean until one of his friends gets an idea. He thinks that if once Mr. Dean can get into the house he can assert himself and prove who is master. Knowing the cook is fired, one of the friends dresses himself up as a woman cook and goes to Mrs. Dean and ...
