The main game consist of one of the strangest ideas i've ever heard of... Controlling a monkey in a ball from a start to a goal, across increasingly difficult mazes! Odd to say the least, but extremely addictive and rewarding when you manage to complete some of the later,harder and more frustrating levels. What are more addictive are two of the three mini games, monkey bowling and monkey golf. These two games have had me and my friends hooked for an obsessively long time and i can only advise you to buy this game to find out why. I make my comments in reference to the game cube version as i found the Playstation version not as user friendly. Happy gaming!

Super Monkey Ball is the home version of the arcade hit Monkey Ball that was released by Sega (whom is a brilliant arcade game developer, besides home video game systems). In the game, you can choose to be one of four monkeys whom move around in a huge ball. Sort of like that one toy for hamsters. Anyways you can choose a certain difficulty level which has a certain amount of stages (for example beginer mode has 10 floors) that have twists, bends, and moving platforms that could pose as a threat for your monkey to fall out. The play control is a little awkward due to the fact that when you are not moving you monkey, it still moves which can make this game rather frustrating. Even with this weakness, the game is still fun in the 1 player mode, but the part where this game shines is the party games which can have up to 4 players at once particpiating in wacky games like Monkey Billiards, Monkey Bowling, and several others that can get a party going.

This game rules! That's all I can say.

Its got Monkeys in Balls, and it ROCKS! - Get it now, I did, and my friends PS2 hasn't been touched for about 3 days now. Its one of the best multiplayer games i've ever played and even my friend paul who won't touch games usually has been heard shouting "Super Monkey Target - Who wants to play Super Monkey Target with me?". Want to sit in front of the TV bored? Or want to roll monkeys around with your friends - its your choice.

If you wan't to know what will come out best in the console wars, look no further than Super Monkey Ball! - I couldnt rate it higher if I tried!
