An evil long buried reawakens to the intoxicating scents of fear, unhappiness and new blood. Can Greggie Hindmarsh, a young, dying drug addict, find the strength to be a hero? Based on a novel written by critically-acclaimed Toronto writer, David Munroe, New Ventry thoughtfully explores social issues which are as relevant today (if not more so) as they were in the 1980s: income inequality, widespread heroin use, terror, hate...and sadly, still AIDs.
