Dani slowly adjusts to life in a hospital that caters to victims of the supernatural. Dr. Jameson continues to experiment with various forms of medications for her while balancing a personal relationship with Dani's nurse, Angela. When Angela accidentally touches Dani, Dani looks into memories from her past. While in charge of a medical station on Grand Isle in the aftermath of a major hurricane, Angela sorts through the debris on the beach. This includes a group of mysterious dolls that seem to be linked to legendary voodoo queen Marie Laveau. With the arrival of Father Bryce, a bigger picture starts to come together and Angela comes to realize the true danger she is in. Back in the present day, Dani's mental health is called into question and the relationship between the medical staff becomes strained.
