In Japan, this episode was called "Ukishima no Death Match Zenpen," or "Floating Island Death Match" (Part 1).
The two-parter bears a striking similarity to a Transformers (1984) episode "The Golden Lagoon," about a beautiful oasis harboring a secret golden lagoon that provides a beneficial weapon. In the battle that follows for the lagoon, the oasis and lagoon are destroyed, leaving the Autobot Beachcomber mourning the loss.
First hint that the "second Moon" is not what it seems. The answer would be revealed in Other Voices Part 1
