Frankie Keeps Talking (2016) Online

After momentarily feeling angry at the news of Cables' death (Bull). I sought the interwebs to find why.

I happened across this piece, short yet sweet.

Well produced, interesting plot, and a fair amount of dynamic for such a short piece.

The feels although awkward at times, seem to transcend to near psychotic reaction, bouncing from emotion for 'Her' (Annabelle Attanasio) and a growing sense of discomfort for the Guy 'Frankie'.

Ultimately a comedy neatly wrapped up in a small single set with some unique moments of action. The colours are great, and the sound complimented the scenes fairly well.

A piece i would call perhaps between Art & Comedy, with some real life feels driving the emotion.

I thought i would have been bored by the second minute, whilst previously anticipating the direction of the film, yet i was found more keyed to the happenings rather than the ego-centrist, self involved, belligerent "expletive", droning on & on.

An near up-skirt shot of Cable; i mean, Annabelle, was well worth the discovery, and the selfish-anger of mine, that i felt towards her decision to move onto new things, has suddenly flipped toward interest of what we have yet to see in the future.

An actress that in fact is more capable than playing a shy-go-cute hacker chick, with more to offer in the way of image.

I sense a liberal(esque) sense to the character, perhaps in keeping with her preference or the writer's preference.

7 Minutes was enough for this skit, but highlighted a potential new route of comedy, based on old situation comedy writing, with modern production values, and of course, contemporary millenial values.
