Kate and the kids travel across the state to Philadelphia to learn about the history of the city and their nation. They learn about the Liberty Bell, pretend to be sworn in as President and enjoy a local hockey game! Then the kids visit the insectarium where they see live bugs and are offered meal worms as a snack. Will the kids convince Kate to face her fears and hold a giant tarantula or try a cheddar flavored bug? Of course a trip to Philly wouldn't be complete without tasting iconic Philadelphia foods so the kids try their hand at making pretzels. But during a Philly Cheese-steak competition, which teams sandwich will win? And before the Gosselins say goodbye to the City of Brotherly Love, will they make their way up the Rocky steps?
