After having been crowned Miss World Canada in 2005, Ramona Amiri continued to be a strong presence at the 2007 Miss World pageant in Sanya, China. Ms. Amiri was the only contestant to rank top 5 in both the swimsuit and talent competition. She placed 1st in the talent competition with her mesmerizing belly dancing skills and overall placed top 12 in the semi-finals of the pageant.
