Nothing sad about the episode itself, enjoyable enough tale of a young boy running away from his family, but found by Judge Roy Bean. However, the beautiful young girl who plays his sister, was the daughter of Russell Hayden who produced the series, and a few short months later was killed in a horrific car accident at just 16. A promising life cut tragically short!
