Though this show with this particular guest lineup was referred to in weekly TV listings in newspapers and in the pages of TV Guide at the time, there is no evidence that this edition (which was to feature a salute to Thanksgiving Day) was even produced, let alone aired; no such show from 17 November 1973 with Steve Lawrence and Tim Conway can be found in the UCLA Film and Television Archive. Newspaper TV listings published on the date of this proposed show indicate that a repeat of the 17 March 1973 edition (#6.23), with guests Peggy Lee and William Conrad, was shown instead.
One of the sketches mentioned as being part of this proposed show was a Civil War sketch with Carol Burnett as her aging moppet character Rhoda Dimple. A sketch along those lines eventually aired on the 9 February 1974 edition (#7.19).
