First Dean Martín western.
The same day that this film was released to theaters, Martin and Lewis made their last appearance together as a team, at New York's Copacabana.
During the weeks this movie was being filmed, rumors began about the impending demise of the Martin and Lewis partnership. So when "The End" title appears on the screen, Dean and Jerry address the audience and exclaim: "We're not ready for 'The End' yet!" Then they shoot the letters off the screen with their six-guns. The stars continue to address the audience, addressing one another as "Dean" and "Jer", insisting how much they enjoy making pictures for everybody.
Dean Martin's and Jerry Lewis' second to last movie together.
Remake of the 1936 Bing Crosby/Martha Raye musical Rhythm on the Range.
