What can one do in 75 minutes? Play a game with your kids...

Work on your hobby...

Make love to your significant other...

Roll around naked in a vat of your own dung...

Watch Terror Toons 2.

And may I say that rolling around in a vat of your own dung is more entertaining than Terror Toons 2 Synopsis... A little girl gets a mysterious DVD for her birthday -- Terror Toons. SHe pops it in, and evil Hansel and Evil Gretel jump out and start killing people. THe mom, Housekeeper and two kids find a safe haven in a room with several crucifixes. Almost everyone else gets killed, save our two heroes.. Fat chick gets her eyes burned out, football player gets his brains plunged out and replaced with monkey brains. ANother dies from cooties. Yet another gets beaten to a pulp with a baseball bat..

Apparently Satan's son, Damian (how original) is creating cartoons, and sending mysterious DVDs to everyone. The two heroes, a chick and some guy (honestly, why bother with names), try to give Damien his comeuppance, but not before he turns the chick into a half demon. Meanwhile, the DVD set up a DVD factory in the living room. Welp, the mom comes out of the crucifix room, and gets attached to a rocket. Monkey brain boy, and the lead guy take the mom off the rocket, and do battle with "damians new creation" which looks like a rainbow colored condom with teeth. The half-demon chick holds him in check, while the guy rides the rocket into the DVD factory.

HOnestly.. this thing is ridiculous. JOe Castro, the "writer" and "director" has more talent than... well... nobody. After seeing this, I am convinced I can make a better movie than him. Hell, I'm aiming for Michael Bay.

A mantra I am fond of uttering is "For a movie to have 'special effects' they first have to be special". This movie looks like someone got a cracked version of Photoshop, and went to town. For example... there's many shots of bulging eyes. THey are quite obviously CGI. Not to say that there aren't any non-cgi SFX, but its just.. I dunno... Its gory I suppose, but its a waste of some actual decent effects.

A note about the ending.. a little cartoon "sports announcer" does a play-by-play of the hero flying the rocket into the DVD factory... how f-ing annoying. Actually, ANNOYING is the best way to describe this movie.

This is easily the worst movie I have ever seen. Save yourself the time, and do something more productive, like wallowing in a vat of your own filth.

I am normally very easy on my movies, I like some movies that it turns out other people said were terrible. But this... this just sucked.

Before I go into anything about this movie, let me first just say that I liked the first Terror Toons. Yes, some of the acting sucked, the special effects look like something a kindergartener drew and submitted it to the director, and the way the movie kept doing all of these weird unnecessary visual effects (like bulging eyes), was just weird. Oh yah, and the ending was weird too. But it was entertaining, as a good movie it probably would have gotten a one rating but as a "so-bad-it's-entertaining" movie I gave it a five.

This movie suffers from all the flaws of the original Terror Toons (except I think they may be worse here), and it was entertaining for a while. But as the movie went on it just got so stupid that I couldn't enjoy it anymore.

For example, there's one part where somebody get's tickled to death (has to be seen to be believed), also, when the police knocked on the door and yelled "police, open up!", the one lady must have said "who is it?" like three times afterwords.

EDIT: Yah, I think the 1 rating was too harsh, because this movie was entertaining for a while in a "so-bad-it's-good" kind of way. In my mind, a "1" is a delicate rating, and should only be applied to movies that are truly and utterly terrible with no redeeming values whatsoever. In my mind, this was not quite that movie.

Nevertheless, this movie still sucked. Inferior to the first one in every way. I really was expecting more from this movie, but maybe that was the problem.
MEGA FREEDY

MEGA FREEDY

I went to the premier of the movie the other day (I know one of the actors), and it was horrible. The first 30 minutes or so were actually fun and worth watching, after that though it just dragged out and you couldn't wait for it to end. The whole story is about a Hansel & Gretal type characters in Cartoon Land who get turned into monsters. A DVD with a dimension between our world and there's is sent to a little girl for her b-day and thats when it all starts. The best way to describe this movie is it's like a Troma film but with an even lower budget. I suggest if you see it at your buddy's house take a peak, but don't bother spending time running around trying to find it on video shelfs.

TERROR TOONS 2 terrortoons2.com

Starring Brinke Stevens,Jeff Dylan Graham,Jed Rowen ,Ken Hall and Eric Spudic. Written and directed By JOE CASTRO

This film is really good. You know ,Its so rare to see ORIGINAL, Terror Toons 2 is that that simply put. I see tributes to Twilight Zone© and Joe Dante© and Peter Jackson.(c). What some wont get is the Danny Elfman, Oingo Boingo pastiche…Its reeking of Reel Love.

How in the world ,Joe Castro came up with this beats me…So far I think he hates Birthdays,Clowns and Hansel and Gretel…WTF ?

The animation, sets, and GORE were right on and worthy of awards. I did hate that you cant get attached to any characters that are good,Because they are leaving with some un-wanted mayhem bestowed on 'em. Tons of extras, great poster art for cover,This film is starting to get a well deserved cult following on Myspace.

This is an awesome movie. Its all about how 2 "children" who are in the cartoon universe get transformed into monsters and wreak havoc on a birthday party for a 12 year old girl. There is also a little 15 min (or so..) film called Terror Toons 1.5 which is kind of confusing but very cool. And lots of extra stuff: behind the scenes bloopers and both cartoon parts from terror Toons and Terror Toons 2.This movie is being trashed so much, but its actually no bad at all. The 1st was a little rough but the sequel is great! Its verryy Cartoony but in a good way. If you like lowER( the movie is THAT low budget...) budget movies than this is great, but if your gonna watch it expecting a 10 million dollar budget and effects then don't even bother.
