I don't know who this Rocco D. guy is that directed this film, but I would love to shake his hand. He has delivered an outstanding action-drama film without all the usual Hollywood filth. What really took me by surprise was the complete omission of foul language throughout the entire film! A film like this doesn't come along too often, but I am certainly glad it did! I could go on about that point forever, but now I will try to give you a review of this film that will make you want to go out and rent it today! Besides being clean, there is great acting and many outstanding stunts throughout the entire film. There are many different action set pieces that are worth a repeat viewing. I pressed the rewind button on my VCR a couple of times just to see that guy fly over that truck again! Most of the stunts are performed by Rocco himself! As the credits rolled, I noticed that Rocco did a lot of the crew work himself. The film's story is about the bonding between two college students(one black and one white), who learn to put aside their racial differences when times get rough. They each get stuck in some pretty rough situations during their trip, and as usual the black guy is the one who usually has the rougher end of the deal. The action is intense, and the message(which the title of this film alludes to) is delivered convincingly well! I sincerely hope Rocco D. keeps making great clean films like this one.

If you have the opportunity to rent the DVD of this movie, then I definitely recommend it.

The movie alone is bad. Terrible acting. A boring, cliched plot. The action scenes were decently entertaining, but obviously very low budget.

However after you have seen the movie, the "making of" interviews on the DVD are great. These guys had almost no budget to work with, and what they went through to make this movie is impressive and hilarious.

This film is a great film. The film delivers what the Hollywood films do not. The action and story is strait forward and never gets boring. The mountain scenes are well done and the overall quality of the film is excellent. I hope the director strikes out to make more independent films in the future!

While driving across country, an African-American named Carl Fields and his white friend, Tony Andersen, get a flat tire in Idaho. When they seek out help to fix the tire, they accidentally stumble into a lynching/neo-nazi meeting on an Aryan Nations compound. I'm assuming this is a simple mistake, as in reality, it's actually the National Alliance, not the Aryan Nations, that owns a compound (in Mill Point, West Virginia, not Idaho). Carl and Tony are beaten and imprisoned within the compound. Tony escapes with the help of a sympathetic neo-nazi, and attempts to get help for Carl. This movie would fit the "so bad its good" category, if it weren't for the fact that it's actually just plain awesome. The action is surprisingly good, and the movie is filled with some of the best lines of all time. My friends and I rented this movie merely because of the cover: a black man holding an AK47 with a swastika in the background. If that doesn't sell you on a movie, nothing will.

I was watching this movie casually it, starts out with absolutely terrible acting, awkward sound (couldn't tell if it was voiced-over or not, but there was something just *off* about the sound). So you can imagine my shock when I realized once this flick got moving that it was turning out to be an incredibly involving action movie. Great action, terrific pacing, sympathetic good guys, truly evil bad guys. Played a little hard on the race card for my taste (the epilogue is a groaner), but other than that this is definitely worth renting. Why the guy who made this has only made one movie since (and apparently just directed) is beyond me.

So, the movie reeks of the 90's (writing this in 2016), but it's really pretty good. It's predictable, but action packed. But what really sets this one apart is the "making of". OMG. It's crazy what they had to do. Rocco does most of the stunt work himself. At one point, when they crash a car, all they have is some pillows under Rocco's coat. In another place, they have to film a police chase in a small Idaho town, so they paint a car with a fake police logo, film the street chase, and then high-tail it quick before the real cops show up. And then, they had trouble with the horses during the intense action scenes. Apparently, the horses learned what the word "ACTION!" meant, and started freaking out as soon as they heard it. So they had to keep replacing the horses.

I'm not really sure why this movie warrants an R rating. There's not a shred of obscenity, or sexual content. Probably because of the copious use of the N word. But in all honesty, it's used in the context in which it would actually be offensive.

I cant believe this film was made in 1995. I would have sworn '85. Anyways, I tried to be very forgiving with this film because it was an independent effort. The story is pretty hard to swallow, I actually was laughing out loud. The extreme characterization. The white nerd and the inner city football star black guy with a heart of gold. Of course they are best friends after meeting for the first time in about, oh...four or five hours. Then they run up against some redneck supremacist from Idaho. Who of course run the entire town. I thought this movie was quite a bit older while I was watching it. So I thought "at least the director was exposing some dark aspects of the country." But after learning it was made in 1995, I was appalled. Not to mention the horrible acting. Whoever gave this movie a 10 must of been the directors momma.

This scrappy little ultra low-budget action flick is definitely worth a look! The opening moments feature a very basic set-up that quickly gives way to fast-paced action and an involving story. The plot concerns two college students who have car trouble while driving through Northern Idaho. They run into a group of white supremacists and end up having to fight for their lives. That fringe groups such as this actually exist is scary enough, but the script also references much more subtle forms of racism before the action even gets started. The film clearly had a budget of next-to-nothing but manages to make very impressive use of scenic locations, features great stunt work and ultimately leaves the viewer with a message that is thought provoking without pounding you over the head. Inspite of the low-budget on this production, the DVD actually contains some great bonus features including a "making of" documentary that is as entertaining as the movie itself.
