Brute Therapy (1971)

Dr. Thorton (Ric Lutze) runs an asylum where mentally disturbed women are treated. The treatment basically consists of the nurse (Charlotte Holstein) taking the women from a cell into the doctors office where he then has sex with them.

This hardcore picture also goes under the title SEX ASYLUM, which is probably better fitting since there's really no "brute therapy" that happens. This picture runs just at a hour and it has been sold by some as being some sort of roughie but it really isn't. The film was obviously shot on a very low-budget and it would be shocking if it took more than a couple days. There are some funny moments that happen throughout the picture but at the end of the day there's really nothing overly special here.

The main reason for me to watch it was for Rene Bond who appears in a scene where she gets it on with the nurse. In all honesty, the nurse really isn't all that attractive so I'm not really sure what this scene was all about but there's no question that Bond isn't featured enough. Lutze actually gets the majority of the screentime as he nails several of the women and some of the scenes are quite funny including the highlight of the movie where he must talk a woman into sex as she describes watching her mom and dad get it on with a dildo!

BRUTE THERAPY certainly isn't a masterpiece or even a good film but if you enjoy these type of low-budget porn movies then there's enough here to make it worth watching.

SEX ASYLUM is yet another not-so-sleazy XXX-roughie that's barely worth a look. I've seen too many roughies lately that aren't very "rough" at all, and here's another example. This'll be another short one:

At a jail/asylum for disturbed women, the "patients" are molested by the doctors, nurses, and guards...

Yeah - that's about it. A pretty common concept that gets no new treatment with this uber-cheap entry. The sex is weak, the sleaze isn't very sleazy - honestly not a whole lot going for this one at all. SEX ASYLUM is another one that I would only recommend for classic-porn completists...4/10 (being generous)
