Numa first appeared, as a small child, in Ο πόλεμος των άστρων: Ο πόλεμος των κλώνων: Innocents of Ryloth (2009) and is again voiced by Catherine Taber. As a grown up, she has the name of one of her Clone Trooper rescuers, Boil, written in Aurebesh on the armor covering her upper left arm as well as the 'bat' crest that Boil wore on his helmet on her shoulder piece. There are faded illustrations on her tunic resembling the Tooka doll she carried as a child.

Cham mentions that Hera first found Chopper during the Clone War. This means the two of them have been together since she was a little girl.

When Star Wars Rebels was first announced, fans immediately noticed that Hera had the same last name as Ryloth freedom fighter Cham Syndulla who appeared in The Clone Wars. At first it was announced that Cham was Hera's uncle, but later Pablo Hidalgo revealed the characters to be father and daughter.

Cham Syndulla and Gobi Glie first appeared in Ο πόλεμος των άστρων: Ο πόλεμος των κλώνων: Liberty on Ryloth (2009) and later in Ο πόλεμος των άστρων: Ο πόλεμος των κλώνων: Supply Lines (2010), which chronologically precedes Liberty on Ryloth. Both of them appeared in the 2015 Del Rey Star Wars Novel "Lords of the Sith" which takes place 11 years before 'Homecoming'.

Cham's shoulder armor, Gobie's gauntlets, vambraces and holster and Numa's arm armor and belt are all pieces salvaged from the clone troopers of Ghost Company as seen in Ο πόλεμος των άστρων: Ο πόλεμος των κλώνων: Innocents of Ryloth (2009).

The look of the Imperial Light Carrier ship is based on the Rebel ship 'Flurry' from the 1994 Star Wars Novel The Truce at Bakura by Kathy Tyers. The original design was created by Doug Chiang and Troy Vigil for the first edition of The Essential Guide to Vehciles and Vessels (1996). It was made into a Micro Machine toy in their 1996 'Epic Collection'.

FRom about 5 min and 40 seconds till about 6 minutes into the episode, the voice actress for the female lead character, Sabine, changes the sound of her voice, whether intentionally or not, gaining a somewhat French accent. Interestingly enough this could be due to the fact that the voice actress in question, TIya Sicar, speaks a few languages, one of which is French.

THe whole episode just follows the trend for much of the second season to delve deeper into the pasts of the shows main characters , and its okay. The plot...she thickens :P

Plot; The Ghost crew travel to Rylos to recruit Herra's father for a mission to steal an Imperial ship.

I was glad to see Hera--a too often ignored character--get some focus here, but once again it's wasted on an extremely mediocre and unambitious story.

The strife between Hera and her father runs thimble deep and never resonates, robbing the story of its dramatic backbone. Only some fun Jedi teamwork between Kannan and Ezra and a few amusing bits of hero worship by the former serve to add any zest to this otherwise bland episode.
