Amber says "Hey brother-o" to Drew when she goes to visit him. This is likely a reference to Arrested Development, which also starred Mae Whitman. In Arrested Development, many of the characters are confused about the Spanish word for "brother" including thinking that "hermano" is a person's name, and saying "brothero" when trying to communicate "brother" in Spanish.
